Wrapping Up SI Swimsuit’s Legendary 60th Anniversary Photo Shoot

After an epic few days, SI Swimsuit wrapped up its 60th anniversary legends photo shoot at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., on Wednesday, March 6. 

The brand’s most iconic models have been hard at work preparing to deliver an epic 2024 SI Swimsuit Issue in May. Maye Musk, Paulina Porizkova and Roshumba Williams are all returning to the fold, alongside familiar faces like Winnie Harlow, Kate Love and Jasmine Sanders. Wednesday was filled with couture gowns, outstanding jewelry and gleaming accessories as models posed for photographer Yu Tsai in honor of the publication’s forthcoming diamond anniversary. 

“It is honestly taking my breath away every couple of seconds,” Sanders, the publication’s 2020 cover star, says of the opportunity. “I found myself downstairs watching Tyra Banks literally cut on for the camera, [and] even when she’s not even shooting, just seeing her transform and smize in person is like the most incredible moment and highlight ever ... It’s amazing to be a woman. It’s amazing to be in this room with all of these incredible women who are absolutely legendary, iconic trailblazers. All of these women have really opened up doors and paved ways for all of us. So, to be able to share the stage with them is absolutely incredible.”
